Incremental Growth:  We have had several new participants join.  Two are included here.  Welcome!  We await results from FTDNA for the others and will post them in a subsequent report once their yDNA profiles are released.  These two newest members are highlighted in light blue on the diagram below.  Profile 117777 lands squarely in the 'a' branch of the clan.  Profile 115485 is very close to the 'k', 'l' and 'd' branches of the clan, but has enough individual traits to constitute a new branch of the clan  - branch 'o'. The diagram below uses the a "genealogically" significant comparison to arrive at branch groupings.  That means that two profiles need to be within 3 variances of each other to be within the same group.   The 12-marker profiles have been colorized brown, the 25+ marker profiles yellow.

The spreadsheet summary below groups each profile with its tentatively assigned Branch-Modal value. The leftmost column is the branch group indicator. The rightmost two columns show the distance when compared to the Clan_modal profile and that branch group's modal profile. Mind you there are still too few participants for this to be anything but tentative. Also listed is each branch group's modal profile and shown, to the right of each, how distant that group's modal profile is from the clan modal profile.
