Current Activity Summary: We have had several new participants join, including our first Haplogroup " I " OMahony. Welcome!!!  We have also expanded our contact with the wider DNA / Genetic Genealogy community and learned a few new ways to view our profile data.  Report 10 introduces some of these new perspectives.  The key differences are: Grouping profiles by pattern match rather than only by distance. Enhancing our analysis with pattern profiles already identified in the wider community.  These already identified Haplogroup-R1b1b2-related pattern profiles are listed below:
Another change is to use the FTDNA excel-like profile listing service via the link under "yDNA profiles in excel-like format for personal analysis" above, now labeled "open OMahony Surname DNA Project page at FTDNA".  This service is kept current with any new member and expanded profile results.  This provides ready access for those anxious to see new results in clan perspective especially during times when these analysis reports are slow to publish.   Still in the news is the release by FTDNA of the updated haplogroup chart.
